i abandoned my cushy job of two years to teach little snot nosed ones.sign of insanity no doubt =) but I do love it and have changed many of my ideas of what success means.I am going to begin travelling this year....hopefully it'll be a means of introspection.I intend to go to turkey because I have alot of turkish friends and there are very few places in the world with such an awesome history.I love and have always been drawn to middle eastern countries as well so thatll be my start.Great piece.

There are a lot diverse spots for a perfect holiday trip anywhere. I don't be aware of exactly why, however i'm sure i prefer typically all the asian continent to get a getaway, simply because i do believe individuals you'll find so friendly and also helpful

A memorable trip, for sure. Ok let's break it down.

The non-Turkish name regulation; from what I understand you just can't register your child with a foreign name, they won't let you, so there aren't any violators to fine or reprimand. As for foreigners and foreign born Turks, they are exempted. I know less about the tax caveats of foreign named businesses.

There are five calls to prayer a day. Don't bother asking a Turk what the translation would be, as the call is in Arabic, the language of the Koran, and all but the most pious Turks have no idea.

Yes, Turkish baths are awesome.

Chios Rooms Hostel is on Chios, not Samos.

Indeed, it was good. And you can do it again: This Oct 2nd-14th R. Rafeh is coming out, you are welcome (bring pork).
